Technical interviews can be intimidating, but with proper preparation, you can approach them with confidence. The key is understanding what employers are really testing: your problem-solving approach, communication skills, and technical competence.

Start by researching the company and role thoroughly. Understand their tech stack, products, and engineering culture. This knowledge will help you tailor your responses and ask insightful questions.

Practice common interview formats: coding challenges (LeetCode, HackerRank), system design questions, behavioural interviews, and take-home assignments. Each requires a different preparation strategy.

For coding interviews, focus on data structures and algorithms. Practice explaining your thought process out loud — interviewers care about how you think, not just whether you arrive at the correct answer.

Behavioural questions like 'Tell me about a time you faced a challenge' are your chance to demonstrate soft skills. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your responses.

The INTERNCV interview prep module includes mock interviews with industry professionals, giving you realistic practice and personalised feedback.
